It is the barrier, the prison.

prison

The worldly body is a prison for the believer, not because this life is miserable for the believing soul, but because that soul yearns to be somewhere greater. It yearns to be Home. No matter how wonderful this life is for a believer, it is a prison compared to the Perfect life that awaits them. This soul’s attachment is to God and the true paradise with Him. It wants to be there. But this worldly life is what keeps that soul from returning—for a while. It is the barrier, the prison.

The worldly body is a prison for the believer, not because this life is miserable for the believing soul, but because that soul yearns to be somewhere greater. It yearns to be Home. No matter how wonderful this life is for a believer, it is a prison compared to the Perfect existence of human life that awaits them. At Paradise of 7th Heaven, all residents will be able to see Allah as Allah is without turning their heads in any direction and without needing to get closer or further from Allah.

Seeing Allah in Heaven is the most joyful moment for Heavenly residents. More pious Muslims will be able to see Allah more frequently than less pious Muslims, who are able to make it to Heaven.

It is like this: Allah does not choose Heaven or Hell for humans. Humans’ souls who incline & yearn more for Heavenly nature will end up in Heaven and humans’ souls who incline & yearn more for Hell-like nature will end up in Hell. It is my opinion, though.
