Allah guides whom He wills…

Arnoud Van Doorn in Hajj, describing that his tear flow hardly stopped, and that he wanted to live in Madinah for the rest of his life and produce an award-winning documentary about Islam, after he produced the famous anti-Islam documentary in 2008, and was the vice-leader of the extremist Anti-Islamic party in the Netherlands up to last year!

Indeed, Allah guides whom He wants, so don’t stop giving Da’wah to anyone, not even the harshest haters of Islam.

الله أكبر الله أكبر ، الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله ، والله أكبر الله أكبر ولله الحمد

A Miracle…Allahu Akbar!

Subhaan’Allaah! The millions of believers who might have been sitting on sofas, travelling in cars, using air conditioners and other luxuries back home are seen today as pilgrims – guests of Allah, sitting on rocks under the scorching hot sun, covered in dust, they’re travelling on foot, suffering exhaustion because of the crowding together of thousands of people and bearing many hardships to fulfill the obligation of Hajj which is ordained by The Majestic Lord reminds me of an ayah where The Supreme Lord declares the status of mankind…

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَنتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ

O mankind, you are THOSE IN NEED OF ALLAH , WHILE ALLAH IS THE FREE OF NEED, THE PRAISEWORTHY. (Qur’aan 35:15)

Suggested schedule for the Day of Arafah

arafah

Suggested schedule for the Day of Arafah Insha Allah:

1. Sleep early the night before to strengthen yourself for the special day.

2. Wake up before Fajr for suhoor.

3. Make wudoo, while consciously remembering that your sins are being washed away til the last drop of water.

Pray at least 4 rakahs of qiyam and make duaa for your deen & dunya in your sujood. Cry to Allah, showing Him humility & ask Him to give you tawfeeq on this great day, and thank Him for making you of those who would experience this special occasion.

4. Spend some time (10-15 mins at least) making Istighfar before Fajr, to be like the righteous whom Allah described as “seeking forgiveness before dawn.”

5. Repeat after Fajr adhan & make duaa. Pray Fajr. Sit in your prayer place and do your morning adhkar. Make tasbeeh, tahleel, tahmeed, & takbeer. And as the Prophet Muhammad (Sallal laahu alaihi wa sallam) advised, increase in “la ilaha illallah, wahdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul mulk wa lahul hamd, wa huwa ala kulli shay’in qadeer.”

6. 15 minutes after sunrise pray 2 rakahs of shurooq. This all amounts to the reward of a complete Hajj & umrah. So do not waste it!

7. If you’re able to stay awake by all means, do so and do not waste a single minute. If you need to sleep, take a nap for an hour with the conscious intention of energizing yourself for the worship of Allah.

8. When you wake up, make wudoo and pray at least 4 rakahs of duha. Then recite lots of Quran and make the dhikr mentioned above in breaks in between.
(Make dhikr after Dhuhr as you prepare food or as you do what is absolutely necessary.)

9. After Asr, say the evening adhkar. Then recite Quram again til about an hour before Maghrib. At that point, make LOTS of duaa til Maghrib, while having yaqeen that Allah will answer. (Preparing a duaa list ahead of time helps!) Beg that the day will not come to an end except that Allah has forgiven you all your sins and written you of those He has freed from the Fire.

Don’t forget the Muslims suffering all over the world.

Remember as you break your fast that your duaa at that moment is accepted.

May Allah grant us all tawfeeq on that day.

Aameeen!

The DAY of ARAFAH

arafah2

✦ The DAY of ARAFAH! ✦

• The Day, by which Allah SWORE an Oath.
• The Day of FORGIVENESS of sins, and FREEDOM from Fire.
• The Day, on which Allah PERFECTED the religion, and completed His FAVOR.
• The Day, on which Allah took the COVENANT from the progeny of Adam.
• The Day, fasting on which is an EXPIATION for the SINS of the previous year, and the coming year.

A BARGAIN YOU CAN’T MISS OUT ON: “Fasting the Day of `Arafah expiates for two years, one prior and one forthcoming.”

[Saheeh Muslim]

*-Get tens and even hundreds of bonus years on top of that by sharing and informing others!

*-Sisters:
If you sincerely intended on fasting and would have fasted, yet couldn’t due to your menstrual cycle, don’t be sad!
You’ll get the same reward as if you fasted, not a tiny bit less -insha Allah! (I spoke on that issue in: ‘Ramadan Gems #5’)
[~Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril]

May Allah accept from us…Aameen!
